Hurricane Sandy Restoration Projects

When Hurricane Sandy landed in New Jersey our homes and office were left without heat and power for an extended amount of time. We expected that meant we would be at home for a few days managing our own personal recoveries. But when our client called the next morning to inform us that 30+ buildings experienced flood damage and they needed our help immediately we jumped into action. RC Andersen team members worked tirelessly until our client and all their tenants were able to resume their day-to-day operations.

Buildings were hand-measured and estimates were compiled at night in the only bar/restaurant in the area that seemingly had power and food. Once we had insurance approval of the estimate, we started 30+ projects at the same time and all had to be completed immediately. The high-pressure situation was masterfully handled by our team, while the sincere thanks from those impacted made the long days worthwhile.

The overall experience proved that there is no challenge the RC Andersen team can’t tackle…even if we have no power at home, no computer server in the office and no fuel in our vehicles.
